New Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine
Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Dr. S. Ward Casscells and
Surgeon General of the Army Lt. Gen. Eric Schoomaker, will announce the creation of the new, federally-funded institution, the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine at 1:30 p.m. EDT, April 17, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass must meet inside the Pentagon Visitor Center at the Pentagon Metro Entrance no later than 1 p.m., have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call the DoD Press Desk at (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
