            Senior DoD officials will hold a background briefing on the congressionally mandated Quadrennial Roles and Missions Review on May 8, 2008, at 12:15 p.m. EDT in a room yet to be determined. Officials will discuss the guiding principles of the review, the preparatory work conducted to perform the review, the roles and missions framework used.

 

            Journalists interested in attending this briefing must call (703) 697-5131 by 6 p.m., Wed., May 7, to attend. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
