Secretary of Defense Task Force on Nuclear Weapons Management
The Secretary of Defense’s Task Force on Nuclear Weapons Management will provide a briefing on their findings and recommendations for improvements for management of the nuclear enterprise at 10:00 a.m. EST, Jan. 8, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E973. The task force chairman, James R. Schlesinger, will discuss the second of two reports; this one focused on DoD-wide matters. The first report, released Sep. 12, 2008, focused on matters involving the Air Force.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building. |
