U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Commander To Brief On Counter-Piracy Operations
Navy Vice Adm. William Gortney, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, will provide an operational commander’s update, which will include an overview of the Combined Task Force-151 and counter-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden region, at 2 p.m. EST, Jan. 15, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E973.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building. |
