101st Airborne and U.S. Joint Forces Command to Discuss Joint Task Force Training for Operation Enduring Freedom
Commanding General Maj. Gen. John Campbell, 101st Airborne Division and Commander, Joint Warfighting Center Maj. Gen. Stephen Layfield, will brief live from Ft. Campbell, Ky., at 11 a.m. EST, Feb. 4, 2010, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E973, to discuss the on-going Unified Endeavor 10-1 Mission Rehearsal Exercise.
The exercise, which ends Friday, Feb. 5, is designed to train the headquarters forces for their deployment to Afghanistan this year as Combined Joint Task Force-101.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building. |
