Secretary Rumsfeld Greets New House Members
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host a Department of Defense orientation for new members of the House of Representatives on Monday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m. EST. The orientation will include briefings from senior defense officials as well as a meeting with Rumsfeld.
Media are invited to a photo opportunity only with Rumsfeld and the members of Congress at 5 p.m. in Pentagon Room 3E869.
Media must arrive at the Pentagon River Entrance by 4:30 p.m. Those without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
