Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host an honor cordon to welcome Armenian Minister of Defense Serzhik Sarkisyan to the Pentagon at 10:45 a.m. EST, Wednesday, March 20, 2002.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon River Entrance no later than 10:15 a.m. EST for the cordon.
Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz and Sarkisyan will conduct a brief joint press conference in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781, from 11:15 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. EST.
Media without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation, two forms of photo identification and must be at the Pentagon River Entrance no later than 11 a.m. EST for escort to the briefing.
