DuBois to Speak at 2002 Energy Workshop and Exposition

Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment Ray DuBois will deliver a keynote speech at the 2002 Energy Workshop and Exposition in Palm Springs, Calif. Wednesday, June 5, at 12:30 p.m. PDT. The event, which will be held in the Palm Springs Wyndham Hotel and Convention Center, is open for media coverage.

The 5th annual federal energy expo is sponsored by the Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program and co-sponsored by the Department of Defense and the General Services Administration.

DuBois's remarks will cover energy management initiatives in DoD. He will provide a summary of the Department's ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption as initiated by last year's California energy crisis and common themes that align with the President's national energy policy.
