DoD and Norway to Sign Joint Strike Fighter Agreement
Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics E.C. "Pete" Aldridge Jr. and Norwegian National Armaments Director Leif Lindback will sign a memorandum of understanding Thursday, June 20, 2002, at 8:30 a.m. EDT in Pentagon Room 3E869. This signing commits Norway to participation in the Joint Strike Fighter system development and demonstration (SDD) phase.
Media without a Pentagon building passes that wish to cover this event need to be at the River Entrance guard house on Boundary Channel Drive no later than 8 a.m. on the morning of this event.
