Media Credentials for September 11 Observance
Media representatives requiring access to the Pentagon's September 11th Observance must submit a request for press credentials no later than 8 a.m. EDT, Monday, Sept. 9, 2002. Requests must include full name, date of birth, place of birth (city and state), social security number or passport number and country of issue, job title (producer, cameraman, audio technician, journalist, etc.) and company represented. E-mail requests to: terry.mitchell@osd.mil .
Credentials will be issued in the South Parking lot of the Pentagon near the Gate 4 Pentagon Renovation site from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2002. Please be prepared to show government issued photo identification such as a driver's license or passport, proof of social security number and proof of media affiliation (bureau identification card or press pass).
