Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will receive the National Collegiate Athletic Association's highest award, the Theodore Roosevelt Award, Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at the NCAA annual convention and awards dinner in Orlando, Fla.
The dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.
The Theodore Roosevelt Award is presented each year to a public official of outstanding accomplishment who has earned a varsity letter in college and has supported the ideals of collegiate athletic programs.
