Navy Secretary Departure Ceremony Set for Friday
A departure ceremony will be held for the 71st Secretary of the Navy, Richard Danzig, at the newly restored Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters (Building 104), Naval District Washington, on Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at 11 a.m. EST.
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark, and Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Jim Jones will deliver remarks at the event. Secretary Danzig will also speak at the ceremony.
