SecDef to Host Honor Cordon for Secretary of State for Defense of U.K.
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host an honor cordon to welcome Secretary of State for Defense Geoffrey Hoon, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to the Pentagon at 9:30 a.m. EST, Wednesday, March 21, 2001.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 9:10 a.m. EST for the cordon.
Rumsfeld and Hoon will conduct a news conference in the DoD Briefing Studio Room 2E781 at 10:30 a.m. EST. Media without Pentagon credentials must be at the River Entrance of the Pentagon no later than 10:10 a.m. EST for admission.
