SecDef to Host Honor Cordon for MoD of France
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of Defense Alain Richard of the French Republic to the Pentagon at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Monday, July 9, 2001.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.
Rumsfeld and Richard will hold a brief media availability at the River Entrance following their meeting at approximately 12:30 p.m. EDT.
Media interested in covering the arrival must be at the River Entrance no later than 11:10 a.m. EDT. Those wishing to cover the media availability must be in position no later then 12:10 p.m. EDT. Media interested in audiovisual coverage of these events may contact Pat Toombs at (703) 697-6161.
