Rumsfeld to Host Visit by Secretary of National Defense of Mexico
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host a full honor arrival to welcome Secretary of National Defense of Mexico General Gerardo Clemente Ricardo Vega Garcia, to the Pentagon on Monday, August 6, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. The ceremony will be held on the River Parade Field of the Pentagon. Media must be at the River Parade Field no later than 10:10 a.m. EDT for the ceremony.
There will be a brief media availability at the River Entrance at approximately 12:30 p.m. EDT following their meeting. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 12:10 p.m. EDT.
