Honor Cordon and Media Availability for MoD of U.K.
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Secretary of State for Defense Geoffrey Hoon, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to the Pentagon at 2 p.m. EST, Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media interested in coverage of the cordon must be at the River Entrance no later than 1:40 p.m. EST.
Cohen and Hoon will conduct a media availability at 2:50 p.m. EST in Room 3E912 in the Pentagon. Media without Pentagon credentials interested in coverage of the press conference must be at the River Entrance no later than 2:30 p.m. (EST).
