Army Recruiting Announcement Briefing
Secretary of the Army Louis Caldera, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki and Sergeant Major of the Army Robert E. Hall will announce two major Army educational and recruiting initiatives at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 3, in the Pentagon Briefing Studio, Room 2E781.
Secretary of Education Richard Riley and retired Army Gen. Colin Powell, the chairman of America's Promise, will join them.
These two new initiatives will open new learning opportunities for America's youth, increase opportunities for Americans to serve and expand quality-recruiting opportunities for today's Army needs.
