Rascon Ceremony
The Army will induct Alfred Rascon, the most recent recipient of the Medal of Honor, into the Hall of Heroes in a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Pentagon.
Rascon will be inducted into the Hall of Heroes after receiving the Medal of Honor in a White House ceremony earlier in the day. He is the 38th Hispanic American to receive the Medal of Honor.
Rascon is a Vietnam veteran who showed great courage and self-sacrifice during an action in the Long Khanh Province in 1966.
