The Defense Department's 50th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to highlight the opening of the Joint Service Korean War exhibit in the Pentagon on Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at 1 p.m. EDT.
The exhibit, showcasing five displays reflecting the history of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard during the Korean War, is located adjacent to the Hall of Heroes on the second floor between corridors 6 and 7.
Retired Army Gen. Robert Sennewald, former commander-in-chief, U. S. Forces Korea will be the keynote speaker. Retired Republic of Korea Army Gen. Paik Sun Yup will also make remarks.
