AIR FORCE
Tracor Aerospace, Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a
$26,080,831 firm fixed price contract to provide for 525 shipsets
of the AN/ALE-47 (V) Countermeasures Dispenser System applicable
to the following aircraft: C-5, C-17, C-130, C-141, E-8C, F-16,
F/A-18, HH-60G/H, MH-47D, MH-53J, MH-60L/K, P-3, UH-3D, and the
UH-60N.
Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders
are issued.
Contract is expected to be completed September 2002.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
At this time, $8,659,805 of the contract funds have been
obligated.
There were 37 firms solicited and 6 proposals
received.
Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were
completed April 1997.
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-
Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96/D-
0001).
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Ga., is being awarded
a $69,913,987 firm fixed price contract to provide for two
commercial passenger nondevelopmental intercontinental low volume
aircraft to be designated the C-37A.
These are part of the C-137
Replacement Program.
Contract is expected to be completed
December 2003.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year.
There were two proposals received.
Solicitation began November 1996; negotiations were completed
April 1997.
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB,
Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96/C-0037).
Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corp., Carson City, Nev., is being
awarded a $7,828,565 firm fixed price contract to provide for
repair and overhaul of (best estimated quantities) 15,288 First
Stage Blades and 16,242 Second Stage Blades applicable to the TF-
39 engine on the C-5 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be
completed January 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year.
There were ten firms solicited
and two proposals received.
Solicitation began June 1996;
negotiations were completed April 1997.
San Antonio Air
Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity
(F41608-97/D-0503).
Electronic Warfare Associates, Inc., Herndon, Va., is being
awarded a $10,000,567 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for labor, supplies, materials, special
equipment, and facilities required to support electronic
warfare/electromagnetic test operations performed by the Army
Test and Evaluation Command, Directorate of Applied Technology,
test and Simulation, Big Crow Program Office, Kirtland AFB, N.M.
Contract is expected to be completed May 2002.
At this time,
$100,022 of the contract funds have been obligated.

Management Consulting, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being
awarded a $14,805,414 time and materials type contract for
restructure, realignment, streamline, and closure support
services in support of the Fitting Out and Supply Support
Assistance Center, Norfolk, Va.
The contract is for services in
support of federal activities being closed, reorganized,
realigned, streamlined or otherwise restructured based on the
Defense Department's base closure and realignment process or
internal initiatives.
The service will be available to all
Department of Defense and federal agencies within the states of
Ala., Ark., Conn., Del., Fla., Ga., Ill., Ind., Iowa, Kan., Ky.,
La., Maine, Md., Mass., Mich., Minn., Miss., Mo., Neb., N.H.,
N.J., N.C., N.Y., Ohio, Okla., Pa., R.I., S.C., Tenn., Texas,
Vt., Va., W.Va., Wis., and the Wash. D.C.
This contract is
expected to be completed by April 1998.

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk
Detachment, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity

Management Consulting, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being
awarded a $15,179,318 time and materials type contract for
restructure, realignment, streamline, and closure support
services in support of the Fitting Out and Supply Support
Assistance Center, Norfolk, Va.
The contract is for services in
support of federal activities being closed, reorganized,
realigned, streamlined or otherwise restructured based on the
Defense Department's base closure and realignment process or
internal initiatives.
The service will be available to all

The Fleet and Industrial
Supply Center Norfolk Detachment, Philadelphia, Pa., is the
contracting activity (N00140-97-D-E167).
Standard Missile Co. (SMCo), McLean, Va., is being awarded a
$49,950,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-
C-5301 to procure Long Lead Material required to support STANDARD
Missile-3 development.
Work will be performed in McLean,
Va., and is expected to be completed by July 1997.

funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting
activity.
Flintco, Inc., Memphis, Tenn., is being awarded a
$19,727,743 firm-fixed-price contract for building modifications
which provides for the renovation of two one-story training
buildings at Naval Air Station, Memphis, Tenn.
The buildings are
approximately 332,350 square feet in size and will serve as
administration office space.
Work will be performed in
Millington, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by March 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.

The Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C.,
is the contracting activity (N62467-95-C-0891).
McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St.
Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $12,699,027 modification to
previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0029 for the fabrication,
test, installation, delivery and checkout of one T-45A Instrument
Flight Trainer (OFT) S/N9; Device 2F138 with associated technical
data and the fabrication, test and delivery of one T-45 Hot
Mockup Crewstation.
This modification also provides for the
procurement of ground training system (GTS) Support Planning and
Integration and Related analysis for a 12 month timeframe;
procurement of academic courseware technical validation and data;
and will furnish, install and test academics hardware and
operating systems for Naval Air Station Meridian Miss., including
associated technical data.
Work will be performed in St. Louis,
Mo. (38%), and Herndon, Va. (62%), and is expected to be
completed by April 1999.
