TI/Martin JAVELIN Joint Venture (Texas Instruments Inc. and Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla.), is being awarded a $3,527,175 increment as part of a $5,247,842 (if all options are exercised, total will be $9,122,408) cost plus incentive fee contract for research and development efforts for the Tandem Warhead Preplanned Product Improvement Program in support of the JAVELIN Weapon System. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas (65%); and Orlando, Fla. (35%), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Emerson Construction, Temple, Texas, is being awarded a $5,540,000 firm fixed price contract for construction of a regional Air/Land Battle Emulation facility. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 13, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fermont Division, Dynamics Corp. of America, Bridgeport, Conn., is being awarded a $3,836,274 delivery order amount as part of a $185,426,003 (estimated 10 year total) firm fixed price requirements-type contract for Tactical Quiet Generators Kilowatt (kW) Hertz (Hz): 90 each 5kW/60Hz; 234 each 10kW/60Hz; and 26 each 15kW/60Hz. Contract is for four years firm fixed price with six additional option years using economic price adjustments and foreign exchange rate. Work will be performed in Bridgeport, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Northrop Grumman Corp., Pico Rivera, Calif., is being awarded a $77,179,068 face value increase to a fixed price incentive contract to provide for Phase Three of the Long Term Software Support program for the B-2 aircraft. Phase Three includes acquisition of a Detailed Design Document, a Weapons Avionics Simulator, a Radar Real Time Simulator, Test Line 2 integration, creation of an Integrated Test Plan, and updates to the Laboratory System Specification. Contract is expected to be completed May 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
