DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sandy Oil Corp*, Bradley Beach, N.J., is being awarded an $8,556,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for Grade No. 2-D (red dye) diesel fuel. Three hundred sixty sealed bids were solicited and twenty five were received. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-4079).

ARMY

Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $1,713,250 increment as part of a $7,562,250 cost plus fixed fee contract for nuclear weapons effects stewardship. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (70%); and McLean, Va. (30%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 15, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 bids solicited on Feb. 12, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Special Weapons Agency, Alexandria, Va. (DSWA01-97-C-0114).

Hughes Aircraft Co., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $2,002,000 as part of a $9,900,000 time and materials/indefinite delivery contract for the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS) system integration and field service engineering support. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Of the total contract funds, $35,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 13, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-93-G-C855).

Williams Electric Co.*, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $148,264,448 firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity service contract to procure and install utility monitoring control systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems,

security, fire, and smoke alarm systems in government facilities worldwide. Work is expected to be completed by June 13, 2002. Of the total contract funds, $500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 68 bids solicited on Feb. 25, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Ala. (DACA87-97-D-0058).

Honeywell Inc., Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $144,487,908 firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity service contract to procure and install utility monitoring control systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, security, fire, and smoke alarm systems in government facilities worldwide. Work is expected to be completed by June 13, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 68 bids solicited on Feb. 25, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Ala. (DACA87-97-D-0055).

Johnson Controls Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $140,394,333 firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity service contract to procure and install utility monitoring control systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, security, fire, and smoke alarm systems in government facilities worldwide. Work is expected to be completed by June 13, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 68 bids solicited on Feb. 25, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Ala. (DACA87-97-D-0053).

AIR FORCE

Hughes Aircraft Co., Fullerton, Calif., is being awarded an $11,500,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for a Rapid Action Deployment Fixed Site Satellite Network to provide voice and data networking between regional and headquarters interim solution terminals. Contract is expected to be completed November 1997. At this time, $8,625,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-91/C-0124, P00229).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $21,000,000 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract to provide for baseline configuration launch hardware, mission planning, and launch services for three missions of the Multi-Service Launch System (MSLS). This program seeks to develop a flexible modular launch system which will support a range of configurations. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. At this time, $2,280,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04704-92/C-0013, P00093).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $6,794,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for the Period IV (May 1996-April 1997) award fee for production and support of the F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed June 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-88/C-0037, P01115).

System Simulation Solution, Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $5,000,000 indefinite/delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for modeling and analysis of command, control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and architectures. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. At this time, $200,944 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began March 1997; negotiations were completed May 1997.
