DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Hewlett-Packard, Andover, Mass., is being awarded an estimated $30,000,000 indefinite quantity contract for patient monitoring systems. Thirty two proposals were solicited and sixteen were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 17, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-8031).

SpaceLabs Medical, Redmond, Wash., is being awarded an estimated $30,000,000 indefinite quantity contract for patient monitoring systems. Thirty two proposals were solicited and sixteen were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 17, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Marquette Electronics, Inc., Milwaukee, Wis., is being awarded an estimated $30,000,000 indefinite quantity contract for patient monitoring systems. Thirty two proposals were solicited and sixteen were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 17, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-8033).

AIR FORCE

Gunver Manufacturing Co., Manchester, Conn., was awarded on June 13, a $14,190,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for 30,000 (best estimated quantity) Convergent Seal Assemblies applicable to the F100/200/220 engine on the F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation began February 1997; negotiations were completed May 1997. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-97/D-0509).

NAVY

Trandes Corp., Lanham, Md., is being awarded a $10,535,599 indefinite-quantity/ indefinite-delivery, time and material contract to provide services and supplies for depot level maintenance and upgrades by modifications, replacement of electronic module, equipment, and system repairables in support of Navy Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), and other Department of Defense (DOD) customers. These services primarily support the Command and Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems and equipment. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $58,452,412. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 39 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, In-Service Engineering East Coast Division, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-97-D-6703).

ARMY

Vanguard Contractors, Paducah, Ky., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with an estimated cumulative total of $75,000,000 if all options are exercised, for the maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of government installations and facilities. Tasks include site survey, feasibility study, work plan, maintenance, repair and rehabilitation. Work will be performed in the continental United States and Puerto Rico (approximately 90%) and in Paducah, Ky. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 16, 2002. There were 126 bids solicited on Dec. 23, 1996, and 11 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Ala. (DACA87-97-D-0052).
