Litton Systems Inc., Data Systems Division, Ocean Springs, Miss., is being awarded a $12,657,748 indefinite-quantity, fixed-price delivery-type contract to provide up to six Scaled Integrated Voice Communication System switches and ancillary systems, with the first system set for installation on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). Work will be performed in Ocean Springs, Miss., and is expected to be complete by June 2000. This contract was competitively procured with 37 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, In-Service Engineering, East Coast Division, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-97-D-5020).


Contract N00024-97-97-C-6240 for Raytheon Electronic Systems, announced June 8, 1997, should have stated that the contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited and two offers received.


Young and Rubicam Inc., New York, N.Y., is being awarded a fixed price requirements contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with a cumulative total of $440,296,485, to furnish the supplies and services customarily provided by a full-service advertising agency in order to support personnel acquisition and retention programs for Headquarters, United States Army Recruiting Command; Headquarters, United States Army Cadet Command, and the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve. Work will be performed in New York, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2002. There were 87 bids solicited on July 30, 1996, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-0050).
