ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded $11,025,000 as part of a not-to-exceed $14,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and production of 282 modified Optical Relay Tube Assemblies for the AH-64 Apache A and D model aircraft. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 21, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (Prov.), St. Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09-96-G-0005).

Sverdrup Facilities, Costa Mesa, Calif., is being awarded an $8,880,223 increment as part of an $18,830,615 firm-fixed-price contract to design/build the National Range Control Center (10,000 sq. meter), including a Telecommunications Center, Crypto Vault with backup power and raised computer floors and humidity control. Work will be performed at the White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 4, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 52 bids solicited on June 6, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-97-C-0049).

J.T. Construction Co. Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $5,491,000 firm-fixed-price contract to design/construct new pipeline for the student dormitory at Brooks Air Force Base. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 70 bids solicited on April 15, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-97-C-0039).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

ASRC Contracting Co. Inc., Rancho Cordova, Calif., is being awarded a $3,900,000 increment as part of a $12,449,110 (if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for Sacramento River Flood Control, Phase II, levee reconstruction. The project consists of: Site 6,

a berm and toe drain (approximately 8,100 feet); Site 7, a berm and toe drain (approximately 19,335 feet), and impervious slurry cutoff wall (approximately 15,900 feet), levee raising and ramps and roadway (approximately 38,075 feet); and Site 13, levee raising and ramps and roadway (approximately 4,140 feet). Work will be performed in Marysville/Yuba City, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids solicited on July 3, 1997, and nine bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Calif. (DACW05-97-C-0117).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $5,218,254 firm-fixed-price contract to fabricate and install communications, navigation, survivability production kits for three VH-60N helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0030).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $45,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0053 for the procurement of two CH-53E helicopters for the Marine Corps Reserves, including production sustaining engineering. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Electronic Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $7,548,364 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0126 for the production of 50 AIM/RIM-7P Guidance Control Sections and accompanying wings and ancillary supplies; 30 vertical launch kits; and 76 AIM/RIM-7M to 7P upgrade kits for NATO and the Government of Greece. This contract combines purchases for NATO (64%), and the Government of Greece (36%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed Boston, Mass., and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Sungwon, Inc.,* Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded an $8,690,000 firm-fixed-price contract for constructions of a four-story Bachelor Enlisted Quarters and a one-story activities building, demolition of existing buildings, all exterior site work and incidental related work at the Las Pulgas Area, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif. Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif., and is expected to be completed by August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 91 proposals solicited and 13 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-96-C-2126).
