NAVY

Foster Wheeler Environment Corp., Poulsbo, Wash., is being awarded a $3,003,535 modification to previously awarded contract N44255-95-D-6030 for environmental remedial action which includes building demolition, closure of several dangerous waste tanks, soil hot spot delineation, and an independent remedial action to remove fuel tanks and petroleum contaminated soil and restore the site at Area 8, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, Wash. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $290,500,000. Work will be performed in Keyport, Wash., and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Engineering Field Activity Northwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Poulsbo, Wash. is the contracting activity.

The Ryan Company, Rockland, Mass., is being awarded a $6,898,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a sewage treatment transmission and disposal for San Mateo and Las Pulgas areas at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif. Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 90 proposals solicited and ten offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-92-C-4710).

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., (BSI), Lockport, La., is being awarded a $23,190,342 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of Patrol Coastal Ship, PC-14 with related data, provisioning technical documentation, and crew orientation and familiarization. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $29,500,000. Work will be performed in Lockport, La., and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Westinghouse Electric Corp., Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, West Mifflin Borough, Penn., is being awarded an $8,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-89-C-4003 for Naval nuclear propulsion work. Work will be performed in West Mifflin Borough, Penn. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds in the amount of $3,400,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Unidyne Corp., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $20,133,255 indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for industrial support services. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va. (25%), and Middletown, R.I. (75%), and is expected to be completed by August 2002. This contract was competitively procured with 27 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-97-D-4961).

Purvis Systems, Inc.,* Hauppauge, N.Y., is being awarded an $18,190,146 cost-plus-award-fee contract to maintain and operate three laboratories for the Combat Systems Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I. The principal facilities include the following: Life Cycle Support Facility (LCSF), Combat Control Systems Laboratory (CCLS), and Combat Systems Technology Laboratory (CSTL). Work will be performed in Middletown, R.I., and is expected to be completed by August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 75 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-97-C-1607).
