ARMY

Allison Transmission Division, General Motors Corp., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $5,125,378 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 75 each X200-4A transmissions with containers for the M113 family of vehicles. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 28, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-T476).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon TI System, Inc. McKinney, Texas is being awarded, a $7,109,277 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the following applicable to the GBU-28 A/B Paveway III Laser Guided Weapon: 161 WGU-36 A/B Weapons Guidance Units, 161 BSU-92 A/B Air Foil Groups, and one lot of related data. The work will be performed at Raytheon TI Systems, Inc., Sherman, Texas. Contract is expected to be completed May 1998. There were 3 firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began February 1997; negotiations were completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-97/C-0185).

NAVY

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Machinery Apparatus Operation, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $47,105,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4052 for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $14,651,355 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-4000 for Reactor Plant Planning Yard Services for Nuclear Powered Submarines and Guided Missile Cruisers. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Coltec Industries, Inc., Menasco Aerosystems Div., Euless, Texas, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $5,060,650 ceiling-price order for 30 retractable nose landing gear spares in support of F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in Euless, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-96-G-M127) (Order 5014).

Bechtel Environmental, Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn., is being awarded a $1,800,200 modification to previously awarded contract N62467-93-D-0936 for environmental remedial action to provide for the physical management of all contract work/cleanup actions at environmentally contaminated sites in a four state region by the Project Management Office located in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The basic total contract amount was not to exceed $300,000,000. Work will be performed in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
