DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Idemitsu Apollo Corporation, New York, N.Y., is being awarded a $38,112,799 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP8 aviation turbine fuel and midgrade automotive gasoline. Seventy-three proposals were solicited and ten were received. Work will be performed in an overseas location and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-98-D-0453).

Bergen Brunswig Drug Co., Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $12,550,050 firm-fixed-price, modified requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred forty-six proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Glen Allen, Va., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 7, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-94-D- 7001).

ARMY

Raytheon Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $7,741,256 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for new equipment for PATRIOT missiles. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-98-C-0038).

Stanley Associates, Inc., Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $12,576,415 cost-plus-fixed-fee and time and materials delivery order for fiscal year 98 automation requirement for the continued development, testing, implementation and support of the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) and the Automated Battlehook System (ABS). Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sep. 30, 1998. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 24, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-96-C-0004).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $173,841,104 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0195 to definitize the advance acquisition contract for the procurement of three FY 98 E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla. (75%), Bethpage, N.Y. (24%), and Milledgeville, Ga. (1%), and is expected to be completed by October 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $6,980,167 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-5177 for replacement crew training in support of the DDG 173 ships for the government of Japan. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2000. This contract includes purchases for the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-91-G-0091 to provide engineering support for the installation of the Multi-functional Information Distribution system (MIDS) into 440 F/A-18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Denver, Colo., was awarded on October 21, a $7,425,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive contract to extend by two months (February and March 1998) launch operations support for the Titan II and IV launch systems. Contract is expected to be completed March 1998. At this time, $6,500,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96/C-0001, P00081).

Northrop Grumman Corporation, Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $72,100,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for advance procurement of long lead items in support of production of two Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) E-8C aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January 2002. Solicitation began September 1997; negotiations were completed October 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-98/C-0023).

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $34,873,516 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Group A and 4 Group B Radar System Improvement Program kits applicable to the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. The work will be performed at Westinghouse Electric Corp., Baltimore, Md. Contract is expected to be completed July 2000. Solicitation began September 1997; negotiations were completed October 1997. Contract funds will not expire at thehe end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95/C-0041, P00016).

Boeing North American Aircraft, Inc., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $12,582,462 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for FY 1998 Programmed Depot Maintenance for the B-1B aircraft. The work will be performed at Boeing North American Aircraft in Palmdale, Calif. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-90/C-2257, P00072).
