AIR FORCE

Boeing North American, Inc., Anaheim, California, is being awarded a $10,000,000 cost plus incentive fee/award fee contract for critical lead time materials and support for Low Rate Initial Production of the Guidance Replacement Program in support of the Minuteman III missile. Contract is expected to be completed in May 1999. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F04704-93-C-0020 P00068).

The Boeing Company, Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded $17,000,000 firm fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for contractor logistics support for the C-32 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed in September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-96-C-0605-P00005).

ARMY

LONGBOW Limited Liability Co., Martin Marietta Millimeter Technologies Inc., and Northrop Grumman Corp., Orlando, Fla., are being awarded a $106,500,000 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for full rate Production 1 for the LONGBOW Weapon System, 1,100 missiles at a total not-to-exceed amount of $213,000,000. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (50%); and Baltimore, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 7, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-97-C-0082).

TRW, Space & Electronics Group, Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $6,500,000 increment of a $10,495,786 modification to a $90,437,385 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a research and development effort for the Battlefield Combat Identification System (BCIS) Initial Operational Test (IOT) Program, an 18 month new/additional work effort. Work will be performed in Redondo Beach, Calif. (TRW 66%); and Fort Wayne, Ind. (Hughes 34%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the

current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 5, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-93-C-K011).

United Defense, LP, York, Pa., is being awarded a $923,751 modification to a $6,421,679 firm-fixed-price contract for A0 to A2 conversion of 164 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicles (FAASV) located in Europe. Work will be performed in Belgium, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 30, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-X065).

NAVY

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $7,730,024 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-4195 for Propulsion Plant Design Analysis. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Logicon Syscon, Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $5,564,040 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6408 to exercise an option for support of the DDG 51 Class shipbuilding program. The support provided will include technical and engineering services in the following areas: supply support; manpower, personnel and training support; Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) maintenance planning; and maintaining technical documentation. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $200,000 will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Bechtel Environmental, Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn., is being awarded a $2,791,049 modification to previously awarded contract N62467-93-D-0936 for environmental remedial action at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Fla. The basic total contract amount was not to exceed $300,000,000. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Fla., and is expected to be completed by February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
