ARMY

Caribe US Agency*, Miami, Fla., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $18,210,537 as part of a $27,637,604 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for ocean and intermodal transportation services. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on June 12, 1997, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the Military Traffic Management Command, Falls Church, Va.. (DAMT01-98-D-9603).

NAVY

ITT/Northrop Grumman Joint Venture, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $44,655,732 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 36 ALQ-165(V) Airborne Self Protection Jammer (ASPJ) systems, data, and 15 ALQ-165(V) ASPJ spares for the U.S. Navy; and 10 ALQ-165(V) ASPJ spares for the U.S. Air Force. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J. (50%), and Baltimore, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0006).

Semcor, Inc., Mt. Laurel, N.J., is being awarded a $7,667,777 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-5013 for systems engineering, integration, and design analysis for the F-14B upgrade, the EA-6B and the V-22 programs in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (85%), and Patuxent River, Md. (15%), and is expected to be completed in June1998. Contract funds in the amount of $1,763,589 will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exide Corporation, Reading, Pa., is being awarded a $21,246,015 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for vehicular battery items. Twenty-one proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Manchester, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 9, 1999. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO430-98-D-0055).
