ARMY

Allison Transmission Division, General Motors Corp., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $25,010,020 modification to a firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 124 Transmission (X1100-3B) upgrades for the Abrams Upgrade Program. This is to exercise option for CY1999. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 11, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-T537).

FN Manufacturing Inc., Columbia, S.C., is being awarded a $12,621,672 modification to a firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract for 31,700 rifles, M16A2. Work will be performed in Columbia, S.C., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on July 18, 1996, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAE20-96-C-0362).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $78,956,881 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-5173 to exercise an option to provide engineering services in support of DDG 51 Class AEGIS Combat System Installation, Integration and Test (DDG 80 through 82). Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (34%), Bath, Maine (33%), Pascagoula, Miss. (33%), and is expected to be completed in December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $13,957,500 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-5160 to exercise an option for operations and maintenance support of the Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS), Land Based Test Site (LBTS), Program Generation Center (PGC),

Computer Program Test Site (CPTS), and Analysis and Data Reduction Center (ADRC). Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed in January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $41,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for establishment of a depot-level maintenance capability for the F-16 C/D aircraft. This effort will include test equipment, spares, data, technical assistance and training. Contract is expected to be completed February 2002. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were completed November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Korea. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-2040).

Boeing North American, Inc., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $33,920,162 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for software sustainment in support of the B-1 aircraft through December 1998. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96/C-2075, P00011).
