AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Smyrna, Ga., is being awarded a $10,984,655 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for contractor logistics support from February 1998 through February 2000 for four C-130B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Ethiopia. Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-98/C-0107).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $23,900,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for equipment to establish an Extended Repair Capability for the Low Altitude Navigation Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) system applicable to the F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At this time, $12,450,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-93/C-2168, P00067).

ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $124,368,706 modification to a multi-year, firm-fixed-price contract for multi-year-three call-up of the remaining 105 Abrams M1A2 tank upgrades, with 52 gun mounts, and component first article testing funding. Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio (80%); Tallahassee, Fla. (11%); Anniston, Ala. (4%); Scranton, Pa. (3%); Imperial Valley, Calif. (1%); and Muskegon, Mich. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 30, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-95-C-0292).

M & D Mechanical Contractors Inc.*, Decatur, Ala., is being awarded a $6,068,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of the Rowland Creek Pumping Station. Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by May 29, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 850 bids solicited on Sept. 18, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala. (DACA01-98-C-0017).

NAVY

Vitro Corp., Rockville, Md., is being awarded an $8,242639 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6430 to exercise an option for engineering and technical services in support of the AEGIS Shipbuilding Program. Work will be performed in the Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed in February 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Orbital Sciences Corp., Fairchild Defense, Germantown, Md., is being awarded a $5,771,671 modification to previously awarded contract N00163-95-C-0171 to exercise an option to procure AN/ASQ-215 Digital Data Set components for the U.S. Navy, including 314 Personal Computer Memory Card International Associate (PCMCIA) Data Transfer Module units and 662 Interface Receptacle units. Work will be performed in Germantown, Md., and is expected to be completed in March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
