ARMY

Sabreliner Corp., St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on Feb. 10, 1998, a $6,832,008 increment as part of an estimated $24,080,415 (total if all options are exercised, base year plus four years) five year, firm-fixed-price/indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, for maintenance and overhaul of Cold Section Modules, applicable to the T700 and T701C turbine engines for the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. Work will be performed in Neosha, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 28, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six bids solicited on Sept. 30, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH28-98-D-0028).

AIR FORCE

Textron Systems, Corp., Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a $144,528,730 contract to provide for 550 CBU-97A/B Sensor Fused Weapons and associated warranties. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. There was one firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began June 1997; negotiations were completed February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-98/C-0002).

NAVY

  • EG&G WASCO, Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $15,189,389 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6429 to provide 377,078 man-hours of support services in the areas of acquisition, engineering, software, systems production & field support, trainers, and project management, for Project Manager PMS 425. This modification incrementally funds the work in the amount of $5,190,494. Work will be performed in Gaithersburg, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 1998. Contract funds will
