DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennier Industries, Inc., Pomona, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,973,684 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for intermediate cold weather bags and patrol sleeping bags. One hundred seven proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 28, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-98-D- 5020).

Lankford-Sysco Food Service, Pocomoke City, Md., is being awarded an estimated $8,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity for food and beverage support. Seventy-two proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-98-D- 2955).

ARMY

Hercules Aerospace Co., Radford, Va., is being awarded $22,625,764 as a delivery order amount of a firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture of 104,896 MK 90 propellant grains. Work will be performed at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 25, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-94-G-0012).

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $13,925,164 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract for the FY98 PATRIOT engineering services option. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass. (22%); Burlington, Mass. (7%); Huntsville, Ala. (7%); Orlando, Fla. (1%); Tewksbury, Mass. (47%); El Paso, Texas (1%), and International, Saudi Arabia (15%), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 7, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-95-C-0043).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Radian International LLC, Austin, Texas, is being awarded $5,815,878 as a delivery order amount of a cost-plus-award-fee completion contract for work and services required for Operable Unit 2, remediation of lead contaminated soil from residential yards, Phase III, at Oronogo-Duenweg Mining Belt Superfund Site, Jasper County, Mo., and is expected to be completed by March 10, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 29, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACW41-94-D-9010).

AIR FORCE

Tri-Industries, Terre Haute, In., is being awarded a $22,094,328 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 156 Turbine Mid Frame Liners for the TF39 engine, applicable to the C-5 Galaxy transport aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2001. There were six firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began October 1997; negotiations were completed February 1998. At this time, $6,708,936 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-98/D-0238).

Choctaw Management, Durant, Okla., is being awarded a $5,165,900 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for a total of 59 social workers between April 1, 1998 through September 30, 2002. Contract is expected to be completed September 2002. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began December 1997; negotiations were completed February 1998. At this time, $160,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Human Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41622-98/D-0003).

NAVY

  • Israel Military Industries, Ltd., Ramat Hasharon, Israel, is being awarded a $14,434,581 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 110 improved tactical air launched decoys for the U.S. Navy, including the associated technical and administrative data and the integrated logistics support data and program. Work will be performed in Ramat Hasharon, Israel (60%), and Toledo, Ohio (40%), and is expected to be completed by October 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
