NAVY

Turner Construction Co., Detroit, Mich., is being awarded a $6,156,700 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a fuel system maintenance facility for the Air National Guard in Selfridge, Mich. The facility will provide aircraft maintenance and administrative facilities to support KC-135 aircraft and fuel cell maintenance. Work will be performed in Selfridge, Mich., and is expected to be completed by May 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and two offers received. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-96-D-0157).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc., Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,801,700 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for production and installation of a communication and navigation upgrade into twelve MC-130H aircraft and the avionics subsystem trainer. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-83/C-0264, P00313).

ARMY

CORRECTION

Contract DAAA09-91-Z-0009 announced March 13, 1998, incorrectly listed the dollar amount of the cumulative total, the awarded date was not stated, and part of the funding will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract announcement should have read as follows:

Olin Corporation, Winchester Division, Independence, Mo., was awarded on March 12, 1998, a $5,473,684 modification to a delivery order/cost-plus-award-fee contract for Operation &

maintenance of a Government-owned/contractor-operated facility and production of small caliber ammunition, e.g., 7.62mm, 5.56mm, cal .5 to support the troops in the field. Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $54,162 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 30, 1997. The contracting activity is U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, IL. (DAAA09-91-Z-0009).

Contract DAAE07-93-C-A018 announced March 13, 1998, did not list the awarded date and that part of the funding will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract announcement should have read as follows:

United Defense, L. P., Steel Products Division, Anniston, Ala., was awarded on March 12, 1998, a $5,278,677 increment as part of a $86,107,487 firm-fixed-price contract for exercise of option for Overhaul/Conversion of 242 vehicles within the M113 Family of Vehicles, 63 M113A3 Vehicles, NSN 2350-01-219-7577; 121 m577a3 Vehicles, NSN 2350-01-369-6085; 50 M1068A3 Vehicles, NSN 2350-01-369-6086; 8 M1064Aa3 Vehicles, NSN 2350-01-369-6082. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala., and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1998. Of the total contract funds $3,167,168 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were five bids solicited on February 5, 1998, and five bids received. The contracting activity is U. S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM), Warren, Mich. DAAE07-93-C-A018.

Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $25,200,815 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (exercise of option) for 100 heavy equipment transporter (HET) trucks. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Of the total contract funds, $223,062 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 1, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X159).

SEI Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $19,347,500 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (exercise of option) for 100 heavy equipment transporter semitrailer trucks. Work will be performed in West Plains, Mo., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Of the total contracts funds, $193,475 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 7, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X100).

Cessna Aircraft Co., Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $20,754,035 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for purchase of five aircraft, the UC-35A. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kan., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 24 bids solicited on Aug. 1, 1995, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, St. Louis,

TASC, Inc., Reston, Va., is being awarded a modification to a delivery order amount of $1,622,659 as part of a $5,776,461 cumulative total (if all options are exercised base plus four years) contract for information operations support for all U.S. Army land information warfare activity sites world wide. Work will be performed in Reston, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 98 bids solicited on March 12, 1997, and four bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Information Systems Command, Fort Belvoir, Va. (DASC01-98-D-0008).

Flight Safety International, Inc., is being awarded a $10,595,446 firm-fixed-price contract for fixed wing flight training services at Fort Rucker, Ala. (This contract is being awarded for $10,595,446 for period covering Oct. 10, 1999, through Sept. 30, 2000). Work will be performed in Daleville, Ala. (75%), and Dothan, Ala. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000 (base period), and Sept. 30, 2004 (if all options exercised). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 4, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command, Fort Rucker, Ala. (DABT01-98-C-0003).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

R&D Maintenance Services, Inc., Hennessey, Okla., is being awarded a $1,044,069 cost-plus-award-fee contract with a cumulative total of $5,775,741 (if all options are exercised base year plus four option years) for operation and maintenance of government owned facilities and equipment, Allatoona Lake project. Work will be performed in Cartersville, Ga., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 86 bids solicited on Aug. 15, 1997, and 10 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala. (DACAW01-98-C-0024).
