ARMY

BDM International Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $263,700,000 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for official travel services for the Defense Travel Region Six (DTR 6) and for the worldwide deployment of the common user interface (CUI). Work will be performed both inside and outside of the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 9, 2003. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. There were 37 bids solicited on June 30, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the Military Traffic Management Command, Falls Church, Va. (DAMT01-98-C-1005).

MRJ Inc.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $1,572,000 increment of a not-to-exceed $45,734,289 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost contract. This letter contract modification is issued to rebaseline/restructure the contract for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) of the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) Intelligence Module (WIM) System to incorporate the joint services engineering, interface, and integration requirements for the Joint Simulation System (JSIMS), and to extend the contract schedule in accordance with the JSIMS schedule. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 14, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-97-C-A012).

Holston Defense Corp., Kingsport, Tenn., is being awarded a $5,846,260 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the production of ammunition explosives (COMP C-4, Class 3 (Tagged)); COMP CH-6; CXM-6; RDX Type II, Class 1; OCTOL Type I (75/25); PBXN-7 Type II; PBXN-9 Type II; and HMX Grade B, Class 2 and 5. Work will be performed at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 27, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-92-Z-0008).

CIVIL WORKS NON MILITARY

Schnabel Foundation Co.*, Cary, Ill., is being awarded a $500,000 increment as part of a $6,091,507 firm-fixed-price contract for Hickman Bluff Slope stabilization, on the Mississippi River and tributaries. Work will be performed in Hickman, Fulton County, Ky., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 7, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 75 bids solicited on Feb. 10, 1998, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis, Tenn. (DACW66-98-C-0030).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta Ga., is being awarded a $58,331,990 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the Period 14 (October 1997-March 1998) Earned Award Fee for engineering and manufacturing development of the F-22 aircraft. Estimated contract completion date is September 2003. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FF33657-91C-0006-P00359)

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,355,188 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the Period 14 (October 1997-March 1998) Earned award Fee for engineering and manufacturing development of the F119 engine in support of the F-22 aircraft. Estimated contract completion date is September 2003. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91-C-0007, P00162).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $22,591,650 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for engineering and manufacturing development of Mission Data Tools software and hardware applicable to the Mission Support System for the F-22 aircraft. The Mission Data Tools will facilitate the quick update of the radar system's data files allowing for rapid reaction to changes in the aircraft's threat environment. AAR Technical Service Center, Garden City, N.Y., is being awarded a $5,577,117 firm-fixed-price-requirements contract to provide for repair of 192 (best estimated quantity) accessory drive gearboxes applicable to the F-16 aircraft. 21 firms solicited, one proposal received. Estimated contract completion date is May 1999. Solicitation completion date was 11 December 1997. Negotiations completed 23 April 1998. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-98-D-0398)

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $9,245,177 firm-fixed-price, time-and-material contract to provide for 12 Instrumentation Group Equipment sets, associated services, and data in support of the Minuteman missile system. The Instrumentation

Group Equipment set is a module installed on test fired missiles to evaluate the missile's performance. One firm solicited, one proposal received. Estimated contract completion date is May 2002. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0007).

NAVY

Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $19,507,092 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-95-C-0033 for the Lot II Production of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System 2000 Tactical Engagement Simulation System. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $10,882,026 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0257 to exercise an option for materials and services for full recertification of 144 tomahawk surface ship and torpedo launch all-up-round missiles, 62 capsule launch system all-up-round missiles, and post production support. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (70%), and Sycamore Canyon, Calif. (30%), and is expected to be completed in August 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Kollmorgen Corporation, Northampton, Mass., is being awarded a $10,200,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-6208 to delete one Engineering and Development Model (EDM) and reconfigure one EDM into a pre-production unit under the Photonics Mast Program. The Photonics Mast incorporates visible, infrared, electronic support measures sensors and stealth features that will provide new capabilities for attack submarines. Work will be performed in Northampton, Mass. (60%), Landsdale, Penn. (15%), El Segundo, Calif. (10%), Portsmouth, R.I. (10%), and San Jose, Calif. (5%), and is expected to be completed in August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

The Boeing Company, Information, Space & Defense Systems, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded an $8,918,056 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0037 for the design of a prognostic health management architecture and data collection and analysis process for the Joint Strike Fighter Concept Demonstration Program. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn. (30.2%), St. Louis, Mo. (24.8%), Seattle, Wash. (21.3%), Torrance, Calif. (12%), and Rockford, Ill. (11.7%), and is expected to be completed in November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Northeast Construction Company*, Jacksonville, N.C., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $7,368,991 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract to provide complete interior and exterior renovations, and any incidental related work to the two-story married officer houses at Paradise Point, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, N.C., and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 167 proposals solicited and 16 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-95-D-1406).

The Raydon Corporation, Daytona Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $6,009,423 cost-plus-fixed-fee service contract for various training needs of Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army Air National Guard. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $29,996,379. Work will be performed Daytona Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by May 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 12 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-98-D-0028).
