DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc., of New Braunfels, Texas, is being awarded a $14,496,428 fixed-priced with economic price-adjustment contract to deliver 21,420,000 U.S. gallons of turbine fuel, aviation grade J8. Delivery will be between July 1, 1998 and June 30, 1999, plus a 30-day carry-over period. Contractor is small business. There were 96 bids solicited and 14 bids were received. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting agency (SP0600-98-D-0481).

Buie Forest Products, Boerne, Texas, is being awarded an initial fixed-price with economic price-adjustment contract for indefinite quantity of between $1,890,000 and $10,486,000 to provide lumber and related products prime vendor for the mid-Atlantic region. There were 250 bids solicited and seven bids were received. Contractor is small business. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Work will be performed at various locations and will be completed by May 13, 1999. The contracting activity is the Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-97-R-0064).

Century Stair Company of Haymarket, Va., is being awarded an initial fixed-price with economic price-adjustment contract for indefinite quantity of between $1,500,000 and $8,055,000 to provide lumber and related products prime vendor for the mid-Atlantic region. There were 250 bids solicited and seven bids were received. Contractor is small business. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Work will be performed at various locations and will be completed by May 13, 1999. The contracting activity is the Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0500-97-R-0064).

ARMY  C O R R E C T I O N

The May 11, 1998 announcement for a contract awarded to Ilex Systems Inc., Moorestown, N.J., should have stated that the option for year two is an estimated not-to-exceed $18,033,849. (DAAB07-96-D-H510).

R E T R A C T I O N

Contract DASG62-98-D-0004 for Femme Comp Inc., announced May 13, 1998 is hereby retracted.

NAVY

Litton Integrated Systems Corporation, Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $138,624,300 firm-fixed-price contract for design and manufacture of Engineering Control System Equipment and Integrated Bridge Systems (IBSs) for backfit on the CG 47 class of AEGIS cruisers. The contract includes a firm requirement for four systems, options for twenty-two additional systems, and pricing agreements for IBSs for the DDG 51 class of destroyers. Work will be performed in Northridge, Calif. (50%), San Diego, Calif. (20%), Norfolk, Va. (20%), and Pascagoula, Miss. (10%), and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through the internet and four offers were received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-4013).

Kollsman, Inc., Merrimack, N.H., is being awarded a $10,881,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0211 to exercise an option for 15 night targeting systems for integration into United States Marine Corps' AH-1W helicopters. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $5,919,400 cost reimbursement, letter contract to procure 40 Block 1 variant guided missile roundpacks for the Rolling Airframe Guided Missile Weapons Systems. The Block 1 variant adds a new guidance section missile capability to allow infrared and all the way guidance, to significantly improve ship self defense. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (50%) and Ottobrunn, Germany (50%), and is expected to be completed by February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-5441).
