DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. of McLean, Va., is being awarded a $199,595,652 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to establish and operate the Information Assurance Technology Analysis Center. This contract is for a three-year base period, plus a three-year option period and a four-year option period, for a total performance period of 10 years with completion by April 30, 2008. Nine bids were solicited and two bids were received. Defense Supply Center Columbus is the contracting activity (SPO700-98-D-4002).

Advanced Technology Laboratories of Bethesda, Md., is being awarded an indefinite quantity contract for $15,000,000 to supply ultrasound systems, subsystems and components to the uniformed services and federal civilian agencies. Thirty-two bids were solicited and 14 bids were received. Contract will be completed by May 18, 1999. Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-8020).

ARMY

McMaster Construction Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a $6,216,847 (base year total) firm-fixed-price contract with a cumulative total of $6,315,947 if all options are awarded. The project is for an occupational health clinic replacement, which includes construction of a two-story, 37,000 sq. foot facility, to include parking areas; site work; some utility relocations and grading; and additional lines for storm drain, sanitary sewer and other utilities. Building design includes cast-in-place concrete walks, brick, steel interior frames, and steel joists with concrete slabs on metal deck. The interior of the facility includes vinyl wall coverings, casework, carpet and ceramic tile. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 1, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 87 bids solicited on Jan. 28, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa, Okla. (DACA56-98-C-0024).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $31,927,300 firm-fixed-price construction contract for Boston Harbor navigation improvement and berth dredging. Work will be performed in Boston, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 10, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 44 bids solicited on March 9, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waltham, Mass. (DACW33-98-C-0008).

NAVY

CMS Defense Systems, Inc., Titusville, Fla., is being awarded a $14,539,685 contract option for the production of shoulder-launched, multipurpose assault weapon, common practice encased all-up round for the U.S. Marine Corps. This weapon is designed to defeat bunkers and armored vehicles. Work will be performed in Camden, Ark. (90%) and Titusville, Fla. (10%), and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N000178-96-C-1031).
