ARMY

Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc., West Sealy, Texas, was awarded on June 2, 1998, a $9,246,556 firm-fixed-contract for 15 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) trucks and eight FMTV trailers and related test support. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 15, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-98-C-M018).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

IT Corp., Monroeville, Pa., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $8,482,587, as part of an $8,532,587 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a remedial investigation feasibility study for the former Blaine Naval Ammunition Depot. Work will be performed at the former Naval Ammunition Depot, Hastings, Neb., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 1999. There were 198 bids solicited on May 1, 1998, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACW41-98-D-9006).

NAVY

Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $255,640,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the engineering and manufacturing development of a tactical Tomahawk cruise missile. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in June 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-98-C-0053).

Smiths Industries, Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $14,413,202 ceiling-priced contract under a basic ordering agreement for 310 stores management system spares to upgrade F/A-18 Navy reserve aircraft from the A/B to C/D configuration. The spares being procured include wingtips, fuselages and pylons. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and is

expected to be completed in July 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-96-G-002D) (Order 5161).

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $6,535,569 firm-fixed-price contract to manufacture 11 Phase II acoustic rapid commercial-off-the-shelf insertion kits. These kits are used on submarines, and provide significant improvement in towed array data processing and display. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed in July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-6201).
