ARMY

Alliant Techsystems, Hopkins, Minn., is being awarded a $19,673,135 firm-fixed-price contract for M793 TP-T, M910 TPDS-T, and M791 APDS-T, which is 25 mm ammunition for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Work will be performed in Joliet, Ill., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on April 15, 1998, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0053).

Stewart & Stevenson Services, Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $15,837,770 delivery order amount of a firm-fixed-price contract for 126 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV). Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contrack International Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $14,640,921 firm-fixed-price contract, with a cumulative total of $16,199,370 if all options are exercised, for construction of a warehouse at the United States Army base in Doha. Work will be performed in Doha, Qatar, and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $20,732 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 20 bids solicited on Jan 26, 1998, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va. (DACA78-98-C-0014).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Training Inc., Irving, Texas, is being awarded a $6,871,009 time-and-materials/requirements-contract to provide for FY1999 operation and maintenance of Air Force Research Laboratory and Aeronautical Systems Center flight simulation facilities. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33601-99-D-J001).

Tybrin Corp., Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is being awarded a $7,410,805 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee-contract to provide for expanded effort and cost reimbursement items (including travel, materials, and relocation costs) in support of the Air Force Flight Test Center Systems Engineering/Technical Assistance program through January 1999. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04611-95-C-0009, Modification P00140).

NAVY

Metric Systems Corp., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded an $8,061,665 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract to procure diagnosis, repair, and engineering services; technology insertion; software services; training; configuration management; and equipment/parts for the Global Positioning System (GPS) range application program test and evaluation ranges, training ranges, and authorized foreign military test and evaluation and training ranges. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (40%), U.S. Air Force (35%), U.S. Army (10%), and the government of Germany (15%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (85%), and various GPS test and evaluations ranges and training ranges (15%), and is expected to be completed in June 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 30 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-98-D-0140).
