DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Shamrock Foods Company, Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on June 15, 1998, a $6,100,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Fifty-seven proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 15, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-98-D-2934).

ARMY

Raytheon TI Systems, McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $34,469,677 as part of a $70,478,878 (base year total) firm-fixed-price, multi-year and time and materials contract with a cumulative total of $532,543,609, if all options are exercised, for the acquisition of production quantities of the Thermal Weapon Sight and Driver's Vision Enhancer systems, to include option quantities of the Thermal Weapon Sight. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Jan. 20, 1998, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-98-C-J815).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Park Construction Co., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a $500,000 increment as part of a $6,876,403 (base period total) firm-fixed-price contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $7,746,773, if all options are exercised. The project is for a Devils Lake levee raise, Stage 1A, and consists of approximately 18,000 feet of levee, and a pump station with associated structures including headwall and gatewell with reinforced concrete pipe and ductile iron pipe piping and earthwork for golf course drainage. Levee work includes 619,300 cubic yards of impervious fill, 72,979 cubic yards of stone protection materials, a 9,250 linear feet inspection trench, a 25,000 cubic yard excavation, a 5,875 cubic yard surface and base course aggregate for the levee top, topsoil and seeding. Pump station work calls for a metal standing seam roof supported by steel joists. Mechanical equipment includes sump pump, sluice gates with lifts and

operators, flap valves, ductile iron discharge pipe, heating and ventilating equipment and installation of a 45,000 gallon-per-minute pump and controls. Work will be performed at Devils Lake, N.D., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 75 bids solicited on April 21, 1998, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul, Minn. (DACW37-98-C-0008).

AIR FORCE

Automated Sciences Group, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $12,000,000 face value increase to an indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for engineering services from 23 June 1998 through 23 June 2000 in support of development of reliability and maintainability improvements for aircraft, engines, power equipment, air conditioning equipment, support equipment, motors, lights, and alarm and signal systems. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Solicitation issue date was February 5, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 9, 1998. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-93-D-0652-P00002).

Southwest Research, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $12,000,000 face value increase to an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for engineering services in support of development of reliability and maintainability improvements for aircraft, engines, power equipment, air conditioning equipment, support equipment, motors, lights, and alarm and signal systems. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Solicitation issue date was February 5, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 8, 1998. Rosemount Aerospace, Inc., Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $13,033,959 firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for 27,363 (best estimated quantity) thermocouples in support of the F-100-229 engine on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation issue date was April 15, 1997. Negotiation completion date was May 29, 1998. NAVY

HND/Hawaiian Dredging (a joint venture), Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded an $11,597,265 firm-fixed price contract for the demolition of existing housing units, and the design and construction of 72 family housing units at Hale Moku Navy Family Housing, Naval Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Work also provides for quality control, and inspection of all structures, utilities, roads, walks, landscaping and all other required improvements. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed in December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 35 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Regional Officer in Charge of Contracts, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-97-C-1352).

Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an $11,092,866 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0054 to design, develop, manufacture, install, test, and support an MV-22 flight training device. Work will be performed in Broken Arrow, Okla. (59%), Fort Worth, Texas (28%), and Ridley Park, Penn. (13%), and is expected to be completed in May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
