AIR FORCE

Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $49,000,000 indefinite delivery-indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for the development of modifications tot he AN/MST-T1(V) Mini-Mutes electronic warfare training system. The Mini-Mutes system is a ground-based system of emitters, control equipment, and data recorders which allows aircraft to fly electronic warfare training missions and to evaluate performance. These modifications will include upgrades to the emitters, expansion of the range of electronic warfare threats that can be simulated, improvement of tracking capability, and upgrade of hardware and software. Expected contract completion date is July 13, 2006. Solicitation issue date was February 9, 1998. Negotiation completion date was July 10, 1998. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellen AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04606-98-D-0045).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $665,500,000 multi-year advance acquisition contract for the procurement of 44 AV-8B remanufactured aircraft; integrated logistics support; sustaining build engineering; contractor engineering and technical services; publications management contractor support; modification kits; spare and repair parts; program sustaining support; and associated technical, administrative and financial data. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed November 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0046).

Lockheed-Martin Integrated Systems, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $77,001,432 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-6300 to exercise options for two S/QQ-89(V) Undersea Warfare Combat Systems including the redesign of those systems from a (V)14 configuration to a (V)15 configuration. This mod has a firm-fixed-price pricing arrangement for the production of the AN/SQQ-89 system and related components, and the completion of the design of the (V)15 configuration. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y.

United Defense, L.P., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded an $18,834,717 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee, term and completion pricing arrangement for technical and engineering support for medium and major caliber naval surface gun weapon systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va. Work will be performed in King George, Va. (40%), Minneapolis, Minn. (40%) and Louisville, Ky. (20%), and is expected to be completed July 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $25,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-98-D-1002).
