DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

ADEC, Inc., Newberg, Ore., was awarded on Aug. 17, 1998, a $6,000,000 fixed-price- with-economic-price-adjustment contract for dental delivery systems, subsystems or accessories. Ten proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 16, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-8721).

Dentalez Group, Bay Minette, Ala. was awarded on Aug. 17, 1998, a $6,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for dental delivery systems, subsystems or accessories. Creative Apparel Associates*, Belmont, Maine, is being awarded an $11,422,473 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quality/delivery contract for desert chemical protective coats; desert chemical protective trousers; woodland chemical protective coats; and woodland chemical protective trousers. One proposal was solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Harmony, Maine; Princetown, Maine; and Eastport, Maine, and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-98-D-6007).

AIR FORCE

Allied Signal Aerospace, Phoenix, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,388,807 cost-plus-fixed-fee-contract to provide for the Joint Expendable Engine Concepts (JETEC) III research and development program. This program seeks to demonstrate advances in gas turbine engines that will facilitate reduced fuel consumption and production costs. This was a Program Research and Development Announcement, there were three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is July 29, 2002. Solicitation issue date was August 13, 1997. Negotiation completion date was July 28, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-C-2804).

National Semiconductor Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $9,186,144 ($3,684,128, Government Share; $5,502,016, Recipient Share) technology-investment-agreement-contract to provide for research to develop high volume, high performance, radiation tolerant electronic components. This was a Broad agency Announcement, there were three proposals received. Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, NM., is the contracting activity (F29601-98-2-0201).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,800,000 ceiling priced modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0053 for the procurement of one CH-53E helicopter for the Marine Corps Reserves. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

J. A. Jones Management Services, Inc., Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $14,553,976 task order under a multiple awardee contract for construction and renovation of several buildings and facilities, and relocation of various laboratories at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Carderock, Md. Work will be performed in Carderock, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 54 proposals solicited and four offers received. These four contractors compete for each task order under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. Three offers were received for this task order. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-96-D-0156).

  • Fletcher Pacific Construction Company, Ltd., Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $7,631,902 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of two structural steel frame buildings for a Naval Special Warfare Operational Support Facility at the U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, Guam. This contract contains three options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative not-
