DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Fisher Scientific, Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $30,800,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity indefinite-delivery contract for the distribution of the Laboratory Integrated Delivery System program (laboratory equipment and supplies). Work will be performed in Agawam, Mass.; Itasca, Ill.; Hanover Park, Ill.; Wood Dale, Ill.; Florence, Ky.; Grand Prairie, Texas; Newark, Del.; Denver, Colo.; Houston, Texas; Los Alamos, N.M.; Tustin, Calif.; Yorba Linda, Calif.; Midland, Mich.; Eden Prairie, Mont.; Norristown, Pa.; Morris Plains, N.J.; Orlando, Fla.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Cayey, Puerto Rico; Raleigh, N.C.; Rochester, N.Y.; St. Louis, Mo.; Santa Clara, Calif.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Federal Way, Wash.; Somerville, N.J.; Suwanee, Ga.; and Jessup, Md.; and is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-7300).

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $13,575,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for various quantities of mechanical depot-level support equipment in support of the F-15I aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Israel. Expected contract completion date is August 31, 2000. Negotiation completion date was July 9, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-2195-P00047).

PGSUS Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $67,778,639 firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for 90 AGM-142 Have Nap standoff attack missiles, two Data Link Pods, three Captive Air Training Missiles, and associated data, spares, warranty, contractor support , and transportation. Approximately 2% of this effort (2 data Link Pods, warranty, spare parts, support equipment) supports foreign military sales (FMS) to Australia while approximately 34% (39 missiles, warranty, and transportation) supports FMS to Israel. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date January, 2002. Solicitation issue date was April 30, 1997. Negotiation completion date was June 28, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F08626-97-C-0125).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

ABB Power Generation, Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $200,000 delivery order amount as part of a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price/time and materials, indefinite delivery type contract to provide for the non-routine maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of hydroelectric generators within the boundaries of the Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 3, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 46 bids solicited on May 28, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb. (DACW45-98-D-0016).

Alstom Energy Inc., Aurora, Colo., is being awarded a $200,000 delivery order amount as part of a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price/time and materials, indefinite delivery type contract to provide for the non-routine maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of hydroelectric generators within the boundaries of the Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. NAVY

Manafort Brothers, Inc., Plainville, Conn., is being awarded an $11,408,600 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a controlled industrial facility at the Naval Submarine Base, New London, Conn. This facility, which performs maintenance and repair services for nuclear powered submarines, will include a controlled area, two-story support area, mechanical penthouse, and storage area. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn, and is expected to be completed by May 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 34 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northern Division, Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N62472-97-C-0004).
