AIR FORCE

Honeywell Inc., Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a $250,000,000 indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for energy conservation audits, energy conservation measures, designs, energy efficient equipment installations, and maintenance services intended to reduce Air Force energy expenditures. There were three firms solicited and three proposals received. Solicitation issue date was May 5, 1998. The 60th Contracting Squadron, Travis AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity ( F04626-98-D0103).

Cabaco Inc., Sierra Vista, Ariz., is being awarded an $8,449,065 firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for FY 1999 operation and maintenance of the base facilities on the Nellis Training and Test Range, Nevada. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 1999. Solicitation issue date was March 6, 1995. Range management Office, Nellis AFB, Nev., is the contracting activity (F26600-95-C0043-P00067).

NAVY

GDE Systems, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $10,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support services for development of the tactical automated mission planning system (TAMPS) version 6.2.1. This will include mission planning, imagery exploitation processing and maintaining the operation readiness of mission planning modules and TAMPS support platforms. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Div., Pt. Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-98-D-0227).

O K James Construction, Williamsburg, Va., is being awarded a $6,281,000 firm-fixed-priced contract for interior and exterior repairs and improvements to 232 existing family housing units at Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Va. Work will be performed in Yorktown, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2000. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 80 proposals solicited and 12 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-94-C-4702).

ARMY

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., was awarded on Sept. 4, 1998, a $500,000 increment as part of a $52,285,040 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging the lower bay, Houston-Galveston Navigation Channels. The project consists of dredging approximately 10 million cubic yards of "new work" material from widening and deepening the Houston Ship Channel in Galveston Bay, Texas. Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 58 bids solicited on June 22, 1998, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas (DACW-64-98-C-0025).
