DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Warrick Pharmaceuticals, Union, N.J., is being awarded a $7,350,000 firm-fixed-price-requirements contract for Albuterol inhalation with mouthpiece. Fourteen proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Chamblee, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-99-D-0500).

ARMY

Bechtel National Inc., San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $305,589,159 cost-plus-award-fee contract for construction, operation and closure at the Aberdeen Chemical Agent Disposal Facility. The project will include construction, equipment installation, systemization, operation, and closure of the facility. Work will be performed in Aberdeen, Md., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. There were 300 bids solicited on Nov. 17, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0080).

AIR FORCE

Boeing North American, Inc., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded an $11,500,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for FY 1999 software sustainment in support of the B-1B aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30,2001. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 25, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96-C-2075-P00017).

NAVY

Bath Iron Works Corp., Bath, Maine, is being awarded a modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-2800, for lead yard class services on the DDG 51 Aegis class destroyer program. $38,230,102 is being placed today against the execution of a $41,855,039 cost-plus-award-fee contract option. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by October 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

TRW, Inc., Data Technology Div., Carson, Calif., is being awarded a $17,499,994 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor logistics support services, such as depot support, inventory, storage of the inactive Hunter subsystems, training, software maintenance and flight operations for the Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle. Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-C-0005).
