DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Koch Refining Co., Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $24,364,438 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-8 jet fuel. One hundred eighty-six proposals were solicited and 34 were received. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Pine Bend, Minn., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-98-D-0497).

AIR FORCE

Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is being awarded a $1,579,800,000 (Total Value Including all Options) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for performance of the Sacramento Air Logistics Center workload. The effort will involve the following depot workloads: 1) programmed depot maintenance, modification installation, and drop-in maintenance of the KC-135 aircraft; 2) analytical condition inspection, depaint/paint, modification installation, and drop-in maintenance of the A-10 aircraft; and 3) commodities repair for workloads such as hydraulics, electrical accessories, and instruments/electronics. The initial period of performance is five years, after one year of workload transition, with options available for an additional three years. Expected contract completion date is September 30, 1999. Solicitation issue date was March 20, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 28, 1998. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04606-98-D-0007).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $53,000,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for Preliminary Phase 2 of the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources program in support of engineering and manufacturing development of the F-22 aircraft. This effort involves redesign of 18 avionics components to insure continued procurement. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 1999. Solicitation issue date was Sept. 9, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 9, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91-C-0006-P00375).

Trigen Development Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $200,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for energy conservation audits, energy conservation measures, designs, energy efficient equipment installations, and maintenance services intended to reduce Air Force energy expenditures. Funds will be obligated as individual task orders are issued. There were six firms solicited and five proposals received. Expected contract completion date is 25 years from delivery date of basic contract. Solicitation issue date was May 6, 1998. Negotiation completion date is Oct. 7, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33601-99-DJ005).

NAVY

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, West Mifflin Borough, Pa., is being awarded a modification to previously awarded contract N00024-89-C-4003 for naval nuclear propulsion work. $171,700,000 is being placed today against the execution of a $268,300,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification. Work will be performed in West Mifflin Borough, Pa. Contract funds in the amount of $100,700,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

KAPL, Inc., Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-4355 for naval nuclear propulsion work. $57,450,000 is being placed today against the execution of a $155,784,314 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y. Contract funds in the amount of $81,690,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-4039 for the manufacture, testing and delivery of one production ship service turbine generator set for the new attack submarine. $33,100,000 is being placed today against the execution of a $66,300,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee letter contract modification. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed in March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Booz-Allen & Hamilton, McLean, Va., is being awarded an $8,048,829 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort, services contract for technical and engineering services in support of communications-electronics advanced technology (CEAT) systems. This contract will provide an estimated level of effort of 78,000 man-hours of technical and engineering services for the research, design, development, integration, installation, test & evaluation, fielding, analysis, maintenance, material procurement, training, and logistics of CEAT systems. Work will be performed in McLean, Va. (90%), and at a variety of government installations (10%), and is

expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $3,400,000 will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 89 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., St. Inigoes, Md., is the contract awarding activity (N00421-99-C-1011).
