DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Medical Corporation, Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $6,884,137 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 19, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-96-D-7106).

ARMY

Primex Technologies, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded $5,760,000 as part of a $7,680,000 (ceiling price) firm-fixed-price contract for 40,000 M4A2 propellent charges for artillery rounds. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0086).

Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $27,046,877 as the first increment of an estimated $1,383,914,426 four-year/multi-year firm-fixed-price contract (includes a one year option) for 113 various 2 1/2 and 5 ton trucks and respective trailers, part of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 4, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 10, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-98-C-M005).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronics Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $13,126,258 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-5197 to exercise an option for 138,936 man-hours to perform AEGIS combat system baseline upgrade developments and critical experiments. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed in September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIL Systems, Inc., Deer Park, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,562,160 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-98-C-0090 to exercise an option for the procurement of 20 universal exciter upgrade units and associated technical data which is an essential part of the EA-6B tactical jamming system. Work will be performed in Deer Park, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in October 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $1,512,432 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Nova/Mivan, (a joint venture), Napa, Calif., is being awarded a $6,546,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repair of hydrant fueling system at the Naval Support Facility, Diego Garcia Atoll. The work will include removal and replacement of fuel piping, fuel pumps, filters separators, and incidental related work. Work will be performed in Diego Garcia, and is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 23 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Regional Officer in Charge of Contracts, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contract awarding activity (N62742-95-C-1339).
