ARMY CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Adirondack Construction Corp., Glens Falls, N.Y., is being awarded $8,200,000 (base year total) as part of a $9,858,900 (total if options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract, for construction of the Defense Finance & Accounting Services (DFAS) Regional Center renovation of Building #1. Work will be performed at Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 83 bids solicited on March 11, 1998, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y. (DACA51-99-C-0002).
Tracor Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $34,291,204 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide the systems integration effort for the submarine launched ballistic missile modernization program, TRIDENT I extended refit period/recertification test program, maintenance of TRIDENT I SSBNs (ship submersible ballistic nuclear), consolidated support ship, Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) and ER wharves, the TRIDENT II ships and the Tomahawk, TLAM-N (Tomahawk land attack missile-nuclear) operations at SWFLANT and SWFPAC. In addition, the contractor will provide systems integration and start-up support for D5 backfit and Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty support. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $27,819,319 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0022).
