DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., Boston, Mass., is being awarded a $11,900,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for running sneaker shoes. Twenty proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Lawrence, Mass., and Norridgewock, Maine, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-97-D-0342).

Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc.*, New Braunfels, Texas, is being awarded a $7,248,768 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for intermediate fuel oil, grade RME 25, and aviation turbine fuel, grade JP5. Eighty-six proposals were solicited and thirteen were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0456).

ARMY CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Fordice Construction Co.*, Vicksburg, Miss., is being awarded a $7,236,580 firm-fixed-price contract for the casting of 150,000 articulated concrete mattresses (laid into the water). Work will be performed in St. Francisville, La., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were eight bids solicited on Oct. 20, 1998, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La. (DACW29-99-C-0013).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $5,312,200 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for necessary materials to add strategic weapons systems backfit missile training capability for the strategic weapons at the TRIDENT Training Facility in Bangor. The contract will design, develop, manufacture, install and test hardware and software

in the Segmented Missile, Training Launcher and Missile Control Center Laboratories. Work will be performed in Cocoa Beach, Fla. (70%), and Bangor, Wash. (30%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0006).

AIR FORCE

Intertex General Contractors , Valencia, Calif., is being awarded a $9,515,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for renovation of the commissary at Travis AFB, Calif. There were seven firms solicited and three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Nov. 24, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 13, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 24, 1998. Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-99-C-0404).

PGSUS Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $5,800,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for establishment of a production capability in the United States for the AGM-142 Have Nap standoff attack missile. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was May 29, 1998. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-97-C-0125-P00001).
